Caterings is an all-in-one CRM/ERP system and e-commerce platform that provides everything catering companies need to create and run an online store — from customer service to logistics, analytics, and a white-label storefront.
Around 1 in 4 support tickets at catering companies were related to missing or duplicate orders, highlighting a problem with order visibility. Together with the Design Team Lead, I redesigned the “My orders” view to display all orders in one calendar, making the experience easier to understand and use.
PROBLEM
Managing multiple orders was confusing
Catering companies reported that roughly 1/4 of their support tickets related to missing or duplicate orders.
Together with Design Team Lead, we interviewed 5 customers and reviewed the session recordings. Two things stood out:
Many customers overlooked the dropdown used to switch between diets, and assumed their other orders were missing.
The calendar didn't open on the month with their active orders, so customers rage-clicked through the calendar

SOLUTION
One calendar where all orders are visible at a glance
Multi-diet calendar view:
All orders are shown on a single calendar.
Each diet is color-coded for quick identification.
Rounded diet periods clearly show start/end dates.
Clicking a diet opens its detailed order view.
The calendar opens on the month with the nearest active order.
Instant diet overview:
Order cards surface key information at a glance.
Clicking a card highlights the corresponding diet on the calendar.
Status icons make order states easy to scan.
DESIGN CHALLENGES
Handling edge cases
A small group of customers manage four or more diets a day, so the calendar had to stay readable when many diets overlap.
Status icons show for 1 or 2 diets. From 3 up they are hidden, because they become too small to read.
A "+N" indicator reveals the remaining diets on click.
Bar height adjusts so the calendar doesn't stretch.
IMPACT
Calendar-related tickets dropped to zero
In the weeks after launch, support tickets about missing or duplicate orders caused by the calendar dropped to zero according to catering companies.
Session recordings also showed customers moving between their diets without trouble.
